Accessibility Remediation Technician

Job Summary

Info Origin Inc. is looking for Accessibility Remediation Technicians to support a government document remediation project. The role involves reviewing and updating electronic documents to meet accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Remediate accessibility issues in PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and other electronic documents.
• Use Equidox PDF Remediation Software and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Fix document tags, headings, reading order, tables, lists, links, images, and document properties.
• Perform accessibility checks and quality reviews.
• Process a high volume of documents accurately and efficiently.
• Track completed and pending documents.
• Follow established procedures and escalate complex issues when needed.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Equidox PDF Remediation Software.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro or similar PDF editing tools.
• Strong computer and document-processing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with document processing, QA, data entry, or records management.
• Ability to work independently and meet productivity/quality requirements.

Preferred

• Knowledge of WCAG or Section 508.
• Experience with digital accessibility or assistive technologies.
• Government or public-sector document remediation experience.

Additional Requirements

• Must be local to Atlanta, GA.
• Remote position; candidates must have their own computer/equipment and reliable high-speed internet.
• Ability to remotely access DCH systems through WebLink.
• Training will be provided.
