About Frontier
Frontier is a subsidiary of Fresh Prints. Fresh Prints is a New York-based, fast-growing, fully remote, 150-person company with most of our team based in India and the Philippines. A few years ago, Fresh Prints began helping other fast-growing companies build their teams. We got so good at it that we spun out a new company to focus exclusively on that — and called it Frontier.
At Frontier, we help companies grow full-time, cross-functional teams abroad. We hire the smartest people and place them into the best companies. In three years, we’ve never lost a client. If you’re interested in a Frontier role and you apply and are accepted, we’ll screen you through assessments and interviews and aim to get you an interview for a full-time job within the month.
Think of us as your personal talent agent — and good luck with the application! 😊
Please note: To ensure we find the best technical fit, our process begins with a practical skills assessment prior to interviews.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / FP&A Lead to join our growing finance team and play a key role across our US and UK operations.
This is a hands-on role that combines FP&A, financial reporting, accounting, and month/quarter-end close responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the US and UK Controllers and have the opportunity to support a complex, multi-group biotech organization.
The role will report directly to the Finance leadership team and will be responsible for helping ensure the accurate, timely, and high-quality delivery of financial reporting and close processes, while also providing meaningful financial analysis and insight to support business decisions.
We are particularly interested in candidates with biotech or life sciences experience, strong technical accounting knowledge, and experience working across US and UK reporting environments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
-
Lead and support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
-
Provide meaningful analysis and insights into financial performance, trends, and business drivers.
-
Partner with business and finance stakeholders to develop financial plans and forecasts.
-
Translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
-
Support scenario analysis and longer-term financial planning.
Financial Reporting & Close
-
Support the accurate and timely completion of monthly and quarterly close processes across US and UK entities.
-
Work closely with the US and UK Controllers to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.
-
Review financial results, investigate variances, and identify potential accounting or reporting issues.
-
Support preparation and review of management and financial reporting.
-
Assist with US/SEC reporting requirements and related financial information.
-
Help ensure consistent accounting and reporting practices across the group.
Accounting & Technical Finance
-
Apply strong knowledge of US GAAP and UK GAAP across a multi-entity environment.
-
Support technical accounting matters and ensure appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions.
-
Work closely with Controllers and other finance stakeholders on accounting issues and reporting requirements.
-
Develop a detailed understanding of the group's operations, entities, and financial activities.
-
Be willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail when required rather than operating solely at a high-level FP&A or management-reporting level.
Business Partnership
-
Partner closely with finance and operational teams across the US and UK.
-
Build strong working relationships with Controllers and other key stakeholders.
-
Help improve financial processes, reporting, controls, and systems.
-
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency and accuracy of finance processes.
-
Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as the business evolves.
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
-
Significant experience in finance, FP&A, financial reporting, or a combination of these areas.
-
Strong biotech or life sciences industry experience is essential.
-
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with UK GAAP.
-
Experience with US/SEC reporting and related financial reporting requirements.
-
Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes.
-
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical capabilities.
-
Experience working within a multi-entity or multi-group organization.
-
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
-
Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills.
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience working across US and UK finance teams.
-
Experience in a public company or SEC reporting environment.
-
Experience with biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
-
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
-
Experience improving finance processes and controls.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial and analytical thinking.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between high-level FP&A work and detailed accounting analysis. They will be naturally curious, hands-on, highly analytical, and able to understand how different entities and business activities connect within a complex group structure.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to have a meaningful impact on the finance function while working closely with experienced Controllers and senior finance leadership.
