MUST HAVE: Strong Oracle development experience (10-12 years for Lead), with a solid understanding of database fundamentals and PLSQL. Very comfortable with complex queries, Oracle stored procedures, scheduler, dataloads etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle database development, including complex SQL/PLSQL, stored procedures, schedulers, data loads, and database-related enhancements.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle-based solutions, ensuring reliable and efficient data processing and integrations.
• Support Finance and Accounting applications and migration initiatives, preferably within the insurance, banking, or broader financial-services domain, with .NET exposure where required.
• Provide technical leadership and ownership, collaborating effectively with remote teams, proactively resolving issues, meeting commitments, and escalating risks or blockers early.

Qualifications

PREFERRED:

4-5 years dotnet knowledge and experience;

Experience in Accounting and Finance in a financial industry organization, insurance or banking STRONGLY preferred;

 prior experience on Oracle Financials migration projects is good, but not a showstopper if candidate is strong on Oracle with an Accounting and Finance in Insurance company background.

Strong team player, comfortable with remote work, committed and driven, proactive – ask questions, own commitments and escalate early if any blockers/delays on committed objectives.
