We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Cycle Analyst to support our Retail Ambulatory account receivable function. This role is responsible for analyzing revenue cycle performance, identifying operational improvement opportunities, and supporting initiatives that optimize reimbursement, reduce denials, and improve financial outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong data analysis skills with a solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and a passion for driving measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and report on denials, payment variances, accounts receivable, cash collections, and reimbursement performance.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support operational and executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with Patient Access, Health Information Management, Coding, Billing, Collections, and Finance teams to improve revenue cycle outcomes.
• Investigate root causes of revenue leakage and recommend corrective actions.
• Support payer contract analysis and reimbursement reviews.
• Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Validate data integrity across revenue cycle systems and reporting tools.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Participate in special projects related to regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, financial analysis, business analytics, or related areas.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
