Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Application Support Engineer with experience in MEAN/MERN stack applications to provide L2/L3 production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and application maintenance. The candidate will work closely with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors to ensure application stability, availability, and performance.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting enterprise web applications built on MongoDB, Express.js, Angular/React, and Node.js, along with strong troubleshooting, debugging, and SQL/database skills.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Maintenance
- Provide L2/L3 support for production applications.
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Coordinate with development teams for code fixes and enhancements.
- Support production releases, deployments, and post-release validation.
Incident & Problem Management
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets.
- Investigate application, database, API, and integration issues.
- Track and communicate incident status to stakeholders.
- Drive permanent fixes for recurring production issues.
- Participate in on-call and support rotation activities.
