Brand Designer
Valerie Group · 30 days ago
**About this Role **_We're looking for a Brand Designer who knows how to make people stop scrolling. This role is about more than creating beautiful visuals. It's about understanding what captures attention, communicates a story, and builds desire for a brand. You'll work across multiple ecommerce brands, creating visuals for campaigns, product launches, social content, websites, emails, and digital experiences. Whether you're designing a static ad, a landing page, or a product launch campaign, you'll think beyond aesthetics and create work that people remember. We're looking for someone with great taste, strong design fundamentals, and a curiosity for what's next in design, culture, and AI-powered creativity. _
You could be a great fit if...
-
You have a strong eye for typography, layout, colour, and visual composition.
-
You understand how great brands use design to build emotion, attention, and trust.
-
You enjoy translating ideas into visual stories that feel simple, memorable, and impactful.
-
You're constantly collecting inspiration and keeping up with design, fashion, culture, advertising, and digital trends.
-
You know how to balance creativity with commercial thinking and understand that great design should drive engagement—not just look good.
-
You enjoy collaborating with marketers, copywriters, and strategists to bring campaigns to life.
-
You're comfortable using AI tools as part of your creative process and know when they enhance the work—not replace it.
-
You're curious, open to feedback, and always looking for ways to improve your craft.
Requirements
-
1–4 years of experience in Visual Design, Brand Design, Graphic Design, or a similar creative role.
-
A strong portfolio showcasing branding, campaign design, social media, and digital creative.
-
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
-
Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, visual hierarchy, and design systems.
-
Experience creating assets for digital marketing, websites, email, or social media.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across creative and marketing teams.
Bonus Points
-
Motion design experience using After Effects or similar tools.
-
Video editing experience with Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
-
Experience working with D2C, ecommerce, consumer brands, or creative agencies.
-
Familiarity with AI tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, Leonardo AI, or similar creative platforms.
-
A genuine interest in branding, visual culture, and emerging creative trends.
You probably shouldn't apply if...
-
You focus on making things look good without thinking about how they'll perform.
-
You prefer following templates instead of exploring new ideas.
-
You aren't interested in feedback or improving your craft.
-
You see AI as a replacement for creativity rather than a tool to enhance it.
-
You prefer working in highly structured environments where every design decision is predefined
