CACTUS is hiring a publications coordinator on a contractual basis, to support academic researchers and scholarly publishing customers with their various publication and expert-driven needs.
You will interface directly with multiple technical peers and will be the face of the company to our customers, building and maintaining effective, positive, and professional partnerships. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish through clear and timely communication and ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop an excellent partnership with customers and follow through on customer commitments with a strong sense of ownership and integrity.
- Efficiently manage service offerings/packs/projects to deliver superior customer experience. This includes but is limited to tracking progress, deciding appropriate next steps, and coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Perform quality assurance checks on the project-specific workflows and additional tasks to ensure quality work and timely delivery
- Analyze, triage, and resolve customer concerns effectively by coordinating with the relevant teams (where needed)
- Contribute effective and well-written knowledge base articles for all round team improvement and upskilling.
Qualifications and Prerequisites

Bachelors/Master’s degree in any discipline

2+ years of client service and project management experience

Solid understanding of Microsoft applications, especially excel and power automate

Excellent professional oral and written English communication skills,strong problem solving skills and drive to provide superior levels of service and expertise

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with a high-performance work culture and deadline-driven goals.

Experience with CRM tools (Freshdesk, Zendesk, Jira etc.)

Experience in the STEM publishing industry.
