The CRM Analyst will work primarily with our Leap Marketing and Analytics team, which partners with sports teams, venues, and entertainment companies on one-to-one interactive marketing. From email marketing to online advertising to database analysis, industry leaders such as Madison Square Garden, the New York Jets, Major League Soccer, the GRAMMY Museum, and Foxwoods Resort Casino rely on Leap Event Technology to turn their customers into loyal fans.
In this role, you’ll manage a mix of sports and entertainment clients and own the day-to-day Microsoft Dynamics 365 administration for multiple client environments. You’ll serve as a primary Dynamics resource on a team that supports both Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, giving you the chance to collaborate with and learn from experienced cross-platform CRM experts. CRM ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
Including but not limited to:
- CRM System Design/Optimization – working across departments to gather business requirements and translate them into Dynamics 365 solutions that improve efficiency. This includes configuring tables, columns, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, Power Automate cloud flows, and model-driven apps.
- Security & Access Management – maintaining the Dynamics 365 security model, including business units, security roles, teams, and field-level security, and managing users and access across multiple client environments.
- Solution & Environment Management – packaging customizations into solutions and deploying changes between development, test, and production environments using the Power Platform admin center.
- Data Management – importing, cleaning, deduplicating, and maintaining CRM data quality using tools such as the Dynamics 365 import wizard, XrmToolBox, or KingswaySoft.
- Data Analysis – mining system data (transactional, demographic, etc.) to identify trends that help drive business decisions.
- Customer Segmentation – using transactional, behavioral, demographic, and geographic data to build marketing lists and segments and to develop and implement sales campaigns.
- Lead Strategy – working with clients to develop outbound campaign plans based on available internal sources (past buyers, opt-ins, etc.) and external sources (third-party lists, form software, LiveAnalytics, Experian, Full House, etc.).
- Lead Management/Distribution – building multi-channel campaigns within clients’ Dynamics 365 environments and routing leads to sales staff based on the agreed-upon lead strategy.
- Reporting – developing and delivering reports, views, and dashboards (including Power BI where applicable) that capture key sales and marketing metrics such as sales rep productivity, campaign performance, and customer touch points.
- Training – training end users on system processes and capabilities.
- Troubleshooting – diagnosing and resolving issues that arise in day-to-day use of the system, including permissions, automation, and data problems.
- Consultation – providing best practices and advice drawn from experience across multiple clients and industries.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Engagement (Dataverse/model-driven apps) is required.
- Working knowledge of the Dynamics 365 security model, solution management, and Power Automate is required.
- Experience supporting multiple Dynamics 365 environments or clients at the same time is strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- SQL experience is preferred but not required.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud experience is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
- Experience with the Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing system is a plus.
HIRING PROCESS: Candidates whose experience aligns with the role will be asked to complete a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 skills assessment as part of the interview process.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Infrequent Traveler (less than 5% travel): The incumbent may be required to travel on an infrequent basis to the company’s client locations. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stays away from home for one or more nights.
