About the Team/Role

WEX Inc, is seeking a top-notch Client Pay Specialist 1 to support our Corporate Payments line of Business with client needs via phone.

How you'll make an impact

• Professionally and accurately process payments over the phone and manage customer service issues/needs utilizing our various online support tools and processes.

• Self-manage their workload and show proactive communication and problem-solving skills, while also keeping a professional approach with excellent verbal and written skills.

• Make timely outbound phone calls to businesses to process credit card payments over the phone.

• Manage inbound phone calls and customer service emails with various payment processing issues/needs.

• Update directory accounts as needed to supplement efficient payment processing.

• Manage on-going relationships of clients' needs, including refund processing, payments review, and following up on unprocessed credit card transactions to problem solve and find resolutions on billing needs.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $16.30 - $19.00
