Job Description:

Position Overview This position is responsible for advanced technical work across all phases of database administration and development support, including:

• Database administration and production database operations
• Application development lifecycle support, including planning, design, development, implementation, data migration, QA, data cleanup, and data administration
• Database security, availability, monitoring, and performance optimization
• SQL software installation, configuration, upgrades, and Service Pack installations
• SQL Server health checks and performance recommendations
• SQL database migrations and upgrades from legacy servers/SQL versions
• Data migration, including extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, and validation
• Azure SQL database deployment, configuration, security, backup, and maintenance
• Integration of Azure SQL resources with other Azure services
• Database schema development and deployment across test and production environments
• Logical and physical database modeling
• Development and maintenance of database structures, tables, relationships, and normalization
• Support for PSP Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and Power BI environments
• Coordination of database backup and restore activities
• Collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers
