Key Evaluation Areas
1. Python Programming
- Candidates are expected to have strong coding proficiency in Python.
- The customer typically conducts hands-on coding exercises during the interview.
- Focus on coding fundamentals, data structures, problem-solving approach, and code optimization.
2. PySpark
- Candidates should be comfortable with PySpark concepts and practical implementations.
- Hands-on PySpark assignments are commonly part of the customer interview process.
- Evaluate transformations, actions, joins, performance optimization, partitioning, and real-world data processing scenarios.
3. GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Evaluation is largely scenario-based.
- The focus is on the candidate's actual project experience and ability to apply GCP services in real-world situations.
- Assess familiarity with GCP data engineering services, architecture decisions, data pipelines, security considerations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
