Invest in us and we’ll invest in you!. Job DescriptionRole OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned Essbase Consultant to drive the migration of on-premise Oracle Essbase / Hyperion applications to Oracle EPM Cloud / OCI. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Essbase technologies and cloud transformation with proven delivery of multiple migration projects.This role requires deep technical expertise, strong migration experience, and the ability to work closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver a seamless cloud transition.Key Responsibilities1. Migration & TransformationLead and execute end-to-end migration of Essbase/Hyperion applications from on-premise to Oracle EPM Cloud / OCI.Perform application assessment, environment discovery, and dependency analysis.Define migration strategies such as Lift & Shift, Re-architecture, or Hybrid approaches.Convert and optimize Essbase cubes (BSO/ASO) for cloud deployment.2. Architecture & Solution DesignDesign scalable and high-performance cloud EPM architectures.Identify and implement cloud-native enhancements and best practices.Redesign calculation logic, data flows, and integrations as needed.3. Development & ConfigurationDevelop and maintain:Essbase cubes (BSO/ASO)Calc scripts and business rulesMaxL scripts and automationConfigure:Planning applicationsMetadata, hierarchies, and dimensionsSecurity and access models4. Data Integration & ValidationDefine and execute data migration, reconciliation, and validation plans.Implement integrations using FDMEE / Data Integration / ODI.Ensure data accuracy and completeness post-migration.5. Testing & DeploymentLead SIT, UAT, and performance testing cycles.Troubleshoot and resolve migration and performance issues.Support cutover planning and go-live activities.6. Performance OptimizationOptimize cube performance, aggregation design, and calculation efficiency.Address performance bottlenecks in cloud environments.7. Stakeholder CollaborationWork with Finance, IT, and business users to gather and validate requirements.Provide solution recommendations and technical guidance.Communicate risks, timelines, and progress effectively.8.
