A Moving Experience.

Role Overview: Lead seller responsible for acquiring dealer groups and closing multi-rooftop deals.

  • Primary closer + relationship builder

Focus on:

  • Large dealer groups

  • High-probability deals

  • Owns pipeline quality + conversion

Key Responsibilities

  • Close enterprise/group deals (multi-rooftop)

  • Run high-value discovery conversations

  • Lead pricing + negotiation

  • Support key demos and pilots

  • Own full sales cycle from pipeline to close

  • Build and manage relationships with dealer principals, GMs, and service heads

  • Lead discovery on dealer operational pain points (BDC, service, call handling)

  • Drive pilot to paid conversion

  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts

  • Represent Cerence at events and industry forums

KPIs:

  • # rooftops closed

  • Revenue per deal

  • Conversion rate (pilot → paid)

Experience

  • 10+ years of automotive or dealer SaaS sales

  • Existing dealer network preferred

Location & Travel

  • Location: Remote — United States, Canada.

  • Travel: approximately 30% to customer sites

What We Offer:

  • We offer a generous compensation and benefits package (in addition to the base salary), including:

  • Salary range $148,200.00 USD- $237,100.00 USD It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors.
