We are seeking an experienced Fire & Gas QA/QC Inspector to inspect and verify Fire & Gas equipment for energy and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vendor, source, final, FAT, and pre-shipment inspections.
• Inspect gas, flame, smoke, and heat detectors, manual call points, alarm devices, and F&G control equipment.
• Review purchase orders, drawings, datasheets, specifications, BOMs, and ITPs.
• Perform visual, dimensional, nameplate, workmanship, traceability, calibration, and functional checks.
• Verify hazardous-area and Ex-rated equipment documentation.
• Review test certificates, calibration records, and quality dossiers.
• Identify and report nonconformities, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, engineering teams, and QA/QC personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC inspection experience in the energy or industrial sector.
• Proven Fire & Gas inspection experience.
• Knowledge of gas and flame detectors, alarm systems, and F&G control equipment.
• Familiarity with NFPA 72, IEC 60079, IECEx, ATEX, and project requirements.
• Experience with hazardous-area equipment is preferred.
• Good English communication and technical reporting skills.
• Engineering degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Certifications

• QA/QC, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Vendor Inspector certification.
• NACE, CSWIP, ASNT, IECEx, or other relevant certification.
• Manufacturer-specific Fire & Gas training or certification.

Preferred Industry Experience

Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, power generation, renewable energy, EPC, fabrication, or other industrial projects.
