Job Details: Job Location: Main Campus - McKeesport, PA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Human Resources, Interim Paycom Administrator (Independent Contractor) Auberle Auberle is a faith-based human services organization serving children, youth, and families across Pennsylvania. Together with our affiliates, Ward Home and the Pauline Auberle Foundation. Auberle is engaging an independent contractor to provide Paycom system administration services during a temporary gap in internal coverage. The scope has two parts. Continuity services keep the system running day to day, centered on position management and on maintaining employee data accuracy so that accruals calculate correctly and payroll processes cleanly. Project work covers discrete improvements, configuration changes, and system edits assigned during the term. Payroll processing is performed by Auberle staff and falls outside this scope. This is an independent contractor engagement. It is not employment and does not include wages, benefits, paid leave, or expense reimbursement. Scope of Services Continuity Services Recurring work performed throughout the term: • Position management module maintenance, including new position setup and reclassifications, position seat adjustments, and organizational chart changes • Employee record changes, including new hires, status and rate changes, transfers, leaves, and terminations • Accrual verification, including accrual profile assignment, eligibility dates, and hours-based accrual triggers • Pre-payroll data review, with discrepancies identified and resolved before each payroll cycle • Standard and ad hoc reports as requested • Review of monthly Paycom releases, with downstream effects audited and improvement opportunities documented • Configuration support within the notification center, talent management (PAFs and PDFs), Benefits Administration, and Talent Acquisition modules • Consultation with the HR team and Paycom specialists on system issues, with resolutions determined and applied by the contractor • A written log of issues, decisions, and configuration changes, delivered at the close of the engagement Project Work Discrete assignments issued during the term, which may include: • Targeted configuration changes and system edits within existing modules • Testing and deployment of new Paycom features and configurators • Workflow refinements, including notification rules and approval routing • Data cleanup, report library organization, and documentation of existing configurations The contractor determines the methods, tools, and sequence used to complete all work described above. Qualifications: Contractor Qualifications • Provides Paycom administration services to clients • Hands-on Paycom administration within the last 24 months, including position management, benefits management, talent acquisition, talent management, and human resources modules • Experience preparing and auditing employee data ahead of payroll • Accuracy and discretion in handling employee data Engagement Terms Term: Approximately 12 weeks and a maximum of 120 total hours. Start and end dates will be confirmed with the selected contractor. Rate: Based on project scope or per hour, invoiced semi-monthly. Location: Remote. The contractor supplies their own equipment and a secure workspace, configured to meet Auberle's data security and confidentiality requirements. A confidentiality agreement is executed before system access is granted. Deliverables: Deliverables and their due dates are established by agreement between Auberle and the contractor. Volume will vary from week to week. Availability: The contractor commits to a daily availability window, agreed at the start of the engagement, during which requests are received and time-sensitive issues are addressed. Auberle's core operating hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Response commitment: Requests submitted during the availability window are acknowledged the same business day. Priority issues: For system failures or errors that block payroll processing or prevent employee access, the contractor is reachable by phone or text and responds within one hour on business days, including outside the availability window. Priority issues are limited to system-level failures and payroll-blocking errors. All other requests follow the response commitment above. Time spent on priority issues is billed at the standard rate. Independence: The contractor may provide services to other clients during the term. The contractor is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and will be issued a Form 1099. Services will be performed under a written independent contractor agreement.
