Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and curious Data Science Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and business problem-solving. You’ll work closely with experienced data engineers and cross-functional teams to support real-world projects. Key Responsibilities: Data Preparation & Exploration Assist in collecting and cleaning datasets from various sources. Perform basic exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights. AI & Model Development Support the development and testing of machine learning models for tasks like classification and forecasting. Learn and apply techniques for model evaluation and optimization. Problem-Solving Contribute to projects aimed at solving business challenges such as customer segmentation or campaign analysis. Apply analytical thinking to interpret data and suggest improvements. Collaboration & Communication Work with business, product, and engineering teams to understand project goals. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Visualization & Reporting Create simple dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights. Help prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders. A/B Testing Learn how to design and analyze experiments to test business hypotheses. Technical Skills (Intern Level): Basic Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for simple data tasks. Introductory SQL: Ability to write basic queries to access and filter data. Statistical Foundations: Understanding of basic statistical concepts like averages, distributions, and correlations. Data Science: Proficiency in Data Mining, including statistical analysis, machine learning techniques and data visualization tools. Learning Tools: Willingness to explore tools like Tableau or Power BI under guidance. Analytical Skills: Logical Thinking: Ability to approach problems methodically and think through solutions. Pattern Recognition: Capable of identifying trends and anomalies in data. Curiosity & Initiative: Eager to ask questions and explore data to uncover insights.
