<p>For my client, Moon Magic Jewelry, I&#39;m looking for an experienced Jewelry Quality Control Specialist based in Jaipur to join the team on a long-term basis.</p> <p>Moon Magic is an established direct-to-consumer jewelry brand specializing in natural gemstone jewelry.</p> <p>We&#39;re looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in jewelry manufacturing and quality control who can ensure that every piece meets our quality standards before reaching our customers.</p> <h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Inspect finished jewelry for workmanship, stone setting, polishing, plating, finishing, and overall appearance</li> <li>Check gemstones, diamonds, metals, measurements, and product specifications against defined quality standards</li> <li>Conduct quality inspections directly at our manufacturing partners in Jaipur</li> <li>Identify defects and work closely with manufacturers on corrective and preventive actions</li> <li>Provide clear feedback to suppliers and ensure recurring quality issues are resolved</li> <li>Help continuously improve our QC standards, inspection processes, and documentation</li> </ul> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Several years of hands-on experience in jewelry Quality Control / Quality Assurance</li> <li>Based in Jaipur, India</li> <li>Strong knowledge of jewelry manufacturing, gemstones, diamonds, metals, plating, stone setting, polishing, and finishing</li> <li>Experience working directly with jewelry manufacturers and suppliers in Jaipur</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of premium jewelry quality standards</li> <li>Ability to independently identify quality issues and drive solutions with manufacturers</li> <li>Good English communication skills</li> </ul> <p>Nice to have</p> <ul> <li>Gemology or jewelry manufacturing qualification</li> <li>Experience with international jewelry brands</li> <li>Strong network and knowledge of the Jaipur jewelry manufacturing industry</li> <li>Experience developing QC procedures and supplier quality standards</li> </ul> <h2 id="benefits">Benefits</h2> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>💎 Up to 50% employee discount on Moon Magic jewelry</li> <li>🚀 High level of ownership and responsibility for product quality</li> <li>🌍 Work with an established international jewelry brand</li> <li>🤝 Collaborative and international team</li> <li>📈 Long-term opportunity with room to grow</li> </ul>
