Job Summary

The Lead Pharmacy Technician provides both operational and team leadership support within a high-volume pharmacy services environment. This role serves as a key resource for pharmacy technician staff, helping ensure quality performance, workflow efficiency, and exceptional service while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications

Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience
Previous leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated proficiency with pharmacy systems and computer-based applications
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting team performance
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting mail-order, specialty, managed care, or high-volume pharmacy operations
Experience with remote workforce environments
Prior involvement in quality assurance, performance monitoring, or process improvement initiatives
