ICM America · 10 hours ago
About the role
ICM America is preparing for possible legal proceedings in a commercial matter. The work will involve reviewing a large volume of records, including meeting minutes, statements, decisions, correspondence and related documents. We plan to use AI tools to search and analyze these files. We need a detail-oriented legal professional to organize the material, guide the AI-assisted review, check what it produces, and turn the findings into clear, well-sourced documentation for our team and our counsel.
Key responsibilities
-
Collect, organize and index case records (meetings, minutes, statements, decisions, correspondence) into a structured, searchable review set.
-
Find and prioritize the meetings, documents and time periods that matter most to the issues in the matter.
-
Load and prepare documents for AI review tools, write and refine search prompts, and check AI output for accuracy and missing items.
-
Do first-level document review: tag documents for relevance, key issues and privilege or confidentiality concerns.
-
Build chronologies, fact summaries, issue memos and indexes of key documents, citing the source for every point.
-
Do background legal and factual research as directed, and summarize findings in plain English.
-
Keep version control and an audit trail of what was reviewed, how, and what was found.
-
Join regular check-ins with the project lead and U.S. counsel, and turn feedback into revised work quickly.
-
Handle all materials with strict confidentiality.
-
Law degree (LLB, JD or equivalent). Bar admission in your own country is a plus.
-
At least 2 years of experience in document review, litigation support, legal research or paralegal work.
-
Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write precise, professional summaries.
-
Strong organization skills and attention to detail across large document sets.
-
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, along with legal research platforms and document management systems.
-
Reliable internet connection, and availability for at least 3–4 hours that overlap with U.S. business hours.
