Role Title: Legal Technology Expert

micro1 is engaging Legal Technology Experts to participate in a project supporting a customer's legal operations and AI initiatives. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Design, test, and refine realistic legal and contract management workflows using leading legal technology platforms.
- Evaluate the performance and integration of eDiscovery, litigation support, compliance, contract, and e-signature solutions within simulated operational environments.
- Review the outputs generated by AI and technology-assisted tools, identifying inaccuracies, unrealistic results, or workflow breakdowns.
- Document insights and feedback clearly, referencing best practices and professional standards from real-world legal operations.
- Highlight user experience challenges, inefficiencies, and potential improvements in technology-assisted legal processes.
- Collaborate with the project team to communicate findings, demonstrate tested workflows, and suggest actionable refinements.
- Stay aligned with compliance and privacy considerations relevant to legal technology use cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional background in legal research, litigation support, contracts, or eDiscovery, with hands-on use of technology platforms in daily practice.
- Strong understanding of compliance, privacy, and regulatory requirements within legal operations.
- Experience implementing or managing e-signature workflows, contract lifecycle tools, or document automation solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, critique, and improve digital workflows and end-user experiences in legal settings.
- Attention to detail and sound judgment when evaluating outputs and identifying risks or errors.
- Clear written communication skills for reporting observations and recommendations effectively.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools, and experience in AI evaluation projects or workplace integrations is a plus but not required.
