The Manager, HRIS (Reporting, Security, Integrations & Payroll) will serve as a technical Workday expert responsible for reporting architecture, security administration, payroll-related configuration, integrations, and complex solution design. This role will partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, IT, and business leaders. This role is responsible for translating complex business needs into scalable Workday solutions while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence across the HR technology landscape.
The ideal candidate possesses advanced Workday technical expertise and thrives on solving complex business and system challenges while partnering with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and external vendors. Experience across additional Workday modules is highly desirable.
How you’ll make an impact:
Workday Functional Ownership

Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Workday Reporting, Security, Payroll-related configuration, Integrations, and technical architecture.

Design, configure, and support scalable solutions that meet global business requirements.

Evaluate technical impacts of proposed changes across systems, integrations, reporting, and downstream processes.

Recommend best practices to improve system performance, governance, and maintainability.
Reporting and Analytics Leadership

Design and develop advanced Workday reports, composite reports, dashboards, scorecards, and calculated fields.

Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver actionable workforce insights.

Improve reporting efficiency through automation and self-service capabilities.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
Integrations and Payroll Support

Support and oversee Workday integrations, EIBs, PECI, Studio, APIs, and middleware solutions.

Partner with Payroll and vendors to support payroll interfaces, testing, and process improvements.

Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of integration or payroll-related issues.

Evaluate integration impacts during Workday releases and enhancements.
Security Administration

Manage Workday security framework, domain security policies, roles, segment-based security, and business process security.

Lead periodic security audits and compliance activities.

Ensure appropriate access controls and segregation of duties.

Partner with Compliance, Internal Audit, and IT Security teams.
Governance and Operational Excellence

Establish standards for reporting, security, and technical configuration.

Maintain documentation, testing protocols, and change management controls.

Support audit readiness and compliance requirements.

Identify opportunities to automate manual activities and improve overall system efficiency.
What you'll need (Required):

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, HR, or related discipline.

8+ years of HRIS or HR Technology experience.

5+ years of advanced Workday configuration experience.

Strong expertise in: Reporting, Security, Payroll configuration, Integrations and Architecture

Advanced experience with calculated fields, composite reporting, and dashboards.

Experience supporting global HR systems and HR technology projects.

Experience mentoring team members, leading projects, or driving process improvement initiatives.

SQL, analytics, or data management experience.

Knowledge of Core HCM, Talent, or Compensation modules.
