Playwright Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience automating web applications across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers.
- Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM), fixtures, hooks, and advanced Playwright features.
- Experience creating scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
API Testing
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices testing.
- Experience validating API requests, responses, authentication mechanisms, and service integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or Playwright API testing capabilities.
AI in QE / AI-Assisted Testing
- Practical exposure to AI-enabled testing approaches.
- Experience utilizing GenAI tools for:
- Test case generation
- Test data creation
- Automation script development
- Test optimization and analysis
- Defect investigation and root cause analysis
- Understanding of AI-driven quality engineering trends and best practices.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with clients, business users, and leadership teams.
- Experience presenting testing strategy, test status, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Create and execute UI, API, integration, and regression test suites.
- Develop reusable automation components and improve framework scalability and maintainability.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Playwright API testing, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps-driven quality practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-powered test generation, self-healing automation, etc.) to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, defect triage, and release validation activities.
- Prepare test status reports and communicate progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
