ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Product Manager who operates as an individual contributor — someone who owns output, not just process. You will talk directly to clients, TMCs, and OTAs; understand issuing bank APIs and payment networks; navigate RBI and PCI-DSS compliance; and ship a live virtual card implementation end-to-end within 60 days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own end-to-end virtual card platform: issuance, spend controls, reconciliation, and settlement

Talk directly to clients, TMCs, and OTAs (TBO, Yatra) to understand current workflows and pain points

Understand and document issuing bank APIs — card creation, MCC controls, velocity limits, webhooks

Navigate Mastercard/Visa network rules, BIN sponsorship models, chargeback and settlement cycles

Study RBI PPI guidelines, PCI-DSS requirements, and global payment regulations relevant to travel card use cases

Analyse how existing OTA/TMC integrations issue virtual cards and produce a detailed replacement strategy document

Write the PRD and system architecture for Finkraft's virtual card platform covering API design, ledgering, and fraud integration

Select 2–3 pilot clients, define implementation scope, and drive sprint execution with the tech team

Personally run UAT with clients and own the go-live checklist
Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

4–8 years in fintech PM, specifically in card or payment systems

Strong understanding of card networks, BIN sponsorship, authorization flows, and settlement cycles

Hands-on experience reading and working with issuing bank and payment gateway APIs

Familiarity with RBI PPI master directions, PCI-DSS, KYC/AML frameworks

Ability to produce detailed technical documents independently — PRD, system architecture, integration specs

Experience coordinating with engineering teams on sprint planning and delivery

Prior exposure to travel fintech (OTAs, TMCs, expense management) is a strong plus
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT
This is not a coordination role. You will be the primary driver of research, documentation, client engagement, and execution. Within 60 days, you will have produced a complete PRD and architecture document, and will have at least one client live on Finkraft's virtual card platform.
