Berlin-Wheeler, Inc. is hiring a Remote Customer Service Representative - Call Center to support our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. In this remote customer service job, you'll answer inbound calls, assist members with transportation scheduling, update ride details, and provide professional support in a fast-paced call center environment.

This job is a strong fit for people with experience in customer service, call center, contact center, inbound call center, member services, scheduling, dispatch, healthcare support, retail, hospitality, or other phone-based jobs. You do not need previous NEMT, healthcare, or transportation experience to get started. Paid training is provided.

What You'll Do

• Answer inbound customer service calls from members
• Help schedule transportation to medical appointments and healthcare services
• Update, change, or cancel transportation reservations
• Verify member and trip information
• Enter accurate information into company systems
• Communicate with transportation providers and healthcare facilities
• Document customer and member interactions clearly and accurately
• Follow procedures, client requirements, and compliance standards
• Provide respectful, professional support in a remote call center setting

What We're Looking For

• Must currently live in Kansas
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable internet and a secure, quiet home workspace
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfort handling inbound calls throughout the day

Helpful Experience Customer service, call center, contact center, inbound call center, member services, healthcare, medical office, patient services, scheduling, dispatch, insurance, retail, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
