Hello there, sales professional (or amateur)!
Do you prefer an early-stage, "Wild West" startup environment, with limited structure, great product, stable revenue base, but where you'd be the first member of the sales team?
Do you get excited by the idea of going on some road trips to sell building materials to hardware stores?
Do you love Jesus and want to work in a place where your company talks about Jesus and family every day?
This might be the opportunity for you!
This is a remote, field-facing sales role. You will prospect, call, travel, present, and close. You sell to hardware stores, building-material suppliers, radiant-floor specialists, insulation distributors, and related trade partners. (We do not sell directly to builders or homeowners; those are not our target market.)
Success requires equal strength on the phone and in person. The work includes daily sales calls and regular travel to stores and yards. You will manage your calendar, pipeline, and territory with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
– Find and close new dealers (hardware stores and building-material suppliers first) in your territory. – Maintain a consistent outbound cadence, including calls and disciplined follow-up. – Travel frequently to meet dealers in person, present the Lexar advantage, and close agreements. – Manage the pipeline in a CRM and use digital sales tools effectively. – Teach the product: long-term R-value, fanfold speed, termite resistance, vapor-barrier film, storage and freight. If you don't know what any of that means, we will teach you! – Support current dealers so they stock, display, and recommend Lexar as their default underslab insulation. – Represent the company professionally at dealer locations, supplier yards, and industry events. – Handle rejection with resilience. Tenacity is essential to the role. – Report results accurately, seek coaching, and improve the process.
Practical requirements:
– Sales experience. Dealer, hardware, or building-material distribution preferred, but certainly not required. – A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel the northern U.S. often. – A reliable home office and comfort with everyday technology. – The ability to work remotely without drifting from the team. – Authorization to work in the United States.
This is a remote position.
