Job Description

Editage - Digital Media Solutions (DMS) works with scientists, universities, organizations, societies, and publishers across more than 150 accounts from around the world. At DMS, we work with different stakeholders of the scientific landscape to visualize and disseminate their work. Through our content writing and design services, we convert complex scientific ideas into engaging content and visuals tailored to different audiences. We are seeking writers to create high-quality academic content for Wiley B2B projects. The role involves transforming source material into engaging educational and academic outputs such as infographics, video scripts/storyboards, conference summaries, and whitepapers.

Job Responsibilities

Develop storyboards, video scripts, and summaries from provided source material. Perform desk research to supplement content, sourcing peer-reviewed scientific articles and citing references correctly. Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to interpret published manuscripts and extract key insights, while ensuring that all content is scientifically accurate. Provide visual cue instructions for designers/animators in the storyboards.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

Masters or PhD in Physical Sciences and Engineering. Strong command of academic writing, grammar, and communication. Demonstrated ability to analyze manuscripts and synthesize complex information. Proficiency in conducting desk research and referencing scientific literature. Experience in educational content creation (preferred). Excellent responsiveness, reliability, and communication skills. Essential Skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Creative mindset for visual storytelling in academic contexts. Professionalism in team interactions and feedback incorporation (as and when needed).
