Job Overview
As a Senior Champion Program Manager (Sr. CPM), your role involves fostering growth, as well as establishing, and nurturing robust connections with Atlassian Champions across APAC supporting them to contribute to the community to have the most impact, and activating them in ways that support business priorities such as driving company user groups, community events, forum contributions, and content creation.
Responsibilities
What you’ll own
As a senior member of the Champion Engagement & Experiences team, you’ll drive engagement & operational excellence for the Champion program. You are the subject-matter expert and owner for the operational backbone, keeping the systems, documentation, and engagement mechanics that the whole team runs on healthy and scalable. You’ll:

Drive program operational excellence: the health of the Champion tech stack, internal and external documentation management, and engagement health metrics

Obsess over optimizing the program to enhance the Champion experience by launching annual surveys and collecting feedback on a regular basis

Act as the Champion representative for all Champion Support and Platform & Delivery-facing projects such as a CRM migration and revamping the Perks & Rewards ecosystem

Serve as point of contact for Champion enablement collaborations such as Champion Hub, lifecycle emails, and Champion Workshops

Handle first line of escalations and provide recommendations for CPM’s next steps
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll cultivate a sense of trust and belonging in the community by engaging with Atlassian Champions through:

A private Slack community, private forum groups, email, and in person

Monthly virtual events such as Coffee Chats and Office Hours with regional Champions

Highlight Champion stories and share APAC regional accomplishments on a consistent basis across quarterly reports, Slack channels, and blog posts

An Annual Regional Connect event that you’ll host to reward top performing Champions in APAC

Enforcement of the Champion Program Guidelines
Compensation

Qualifications
More about you
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a big-picture thinker and also able to dive deep into the details that help our Champions feel seen and heard. You're extremely empathetic; you care about what customers need and want to help them achieve their goals. Also:

3+ years of proven experience building, scaling, and influencing the strategy of community, advocacy, or ambassador programs (especially chapter or user-led models)

You are a disciplined program operator and business-rules owner who clearly articulates program needs and outcomes, defines user journeys, anticipates edge cases, and owns documentation, SOPs, and tooling health

You are able to prioritize, manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment; highly organized, with the ability to work with multiple teams in different countries

You can seamlessly shift gears between different working styles and regularly learn new processes
-
You're a strong communicator and have excellent writing skills

You’re skilled at advancing and growing relationships with stakeholders/partners and driving executive interactions and alignment with stakeholders and marketing teams

You're energized by building strong relationships with a diverse group of customers and attending user-driven events

You appreciate thinking outside the box, operate with a sense of urgency, and have a knack for finding unique solutions to problems

You're comfortable working autonomously, but also thrive in a team setting
And it's admired, but not required, if:
- You have experience working in Atlassian products, plus Slack, HubSpot, and Salesforce (added bonus if you're familiar with Bevy and/or Higher Logic Vanilla, Tableau)
