Job Overview:

As the Senior Client Services Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the client’s experience for our organization. Leveraging your expertise in client service, benefit design, claim operations, and analyzing pharmacy data, you will lead the client services team that provides strategic as well as day-to-day account services. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive the success of our organization, enhance client satisfaction, and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Responsibilities: As a Senior Client Services Executive, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the overall strategic relationship with assigned clients, ensuring high satisfaction and strong partnership performance.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and internal account teams regarding ongoing pharmacy operations and program performance.
  • Mentor and support Client Services Executive, Account Managers/Client Services Managers to strengthen team capabilities and client delivery.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for day-to-day operational inquiries from clients or internal teams acting on behalf of the client.
  • Serve as a key clinical point of contact, partnering closely with the clinical team to deliver accurate guidance and support.
  • Act as liaison to client advisors and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Represent the Client Services team during finalist presentations, clearly articulating service model value, and operational excellence.
  • Participate in cross-functional workgroups and contribute to initiatives that enhance client experience, operations, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead, prepare for, and facilitate all client meetings, including onsite quarterly and annual business reviews.
  • Collaborate with Implementation and Business Development teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
  • Gather and document client requirements for annual open enrollment, including benefit updates and custom plan needs.
  • Participate in client webinars, trainings, and educational forums to communicate SlateRx’s PBM solutions.
  • Travel to client sites for Open Enrollment sessions or Benefit Fairs, as required.
  • Identify trends in client issues and partner with internal operations and vendor partners to implement proactive, preventive solutions.
  • Ensure all client deliverables, requirements, and communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with expectations.
  • Track and escalate risks or issues that may impact contractual commitments.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements.
  • Provide ongoing support by interpreting plan designs and resolving benefit, claims, eligibility, and enrollment inquiries.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of PBM and healthcare industry trends and provide insights on how SlateRx solutions meet evolving client needs.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the PBM service model and related operational workflows.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a consultative mindset and strong presentation skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, paired with strong organizational skills.
  • Leverage clinical knowledge to identify opportunities and develop strategic initiatives through ongoing strategic planning sessions with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to align and engage cross-functional stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
  • Strong client management capabilities with demonstrated PBM expertise.
  • Effective and creative problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex client or operational issues.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage through ongoing change.
  • Demonstrated leadership in project management.
  • Proficient with common spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides).
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in pharmacy benefits administration, PBM operations, or a related field, with a focus on client-facing responsibilities. Experience working with HR buyers (e.g., Benefits Managers, VPHR) and PBM implementations is a strong plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience; master’s degree a plus.
