About the Role

Join a small engineering team building production AI systems for the transportation and logistics sector. You will own work end to end, from understanding customer needs to shipping and monitoring software used in consequential freight workflows.

What You'll Do

• Scope problems with customers, build solutions across the stack, deploy them, and monitor production traces.

• Develop voice and email negotiation agents, including speech-to-text and text-to-speech pipelines, turn-taking, and LLM orchestration.

• Build tool-calling workflows with guardrails, and use retrieval and reranking to support reliable agent behavior.

• Create and maintain evaluations, including golden sets and regression checks, to assess hallucinations and tool-call correctness.

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 10+ years of software engineering experience, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.

• Experience with React, Next.js, and Python, and the ability to build and operate production software end to end.

• Applied AI experience, especially with LLM-based agents, voice or streaming speech systems, retrieval, and evaluation.

• Strong reasoning about latency, cost, scale, and context limits, with a habit of verifying AI coding tools' output.

• Ability to work India Standard Time hours, reliable internet access, and eligibility to work in India without visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $5,000 to $9,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
