Senior Manager, Clinical Collaboration
talkiatry · 2 hours ago
Talkiatry’s vision is to deliver comprehensive and high-quality mental healthcare that provides patients with access to the care they need. As we continue to grow, Talkiatry is launching new services that wrap around the patient and complement the core psychiatric and therapy care we offer today.
That is where you come in. As a Senior Manager, Clinical Collaboration, you'll build and manage new clinical programs from initial concept through scaled operations. Your portfolio will include pilots with external partners, operations for new lines of business, and support for our Care Management team. You'll define how each program should work, launch it, measure it, decide whether it should scale, and build the operating model for sustainable growth.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can bring structure to work that is still taking shape.
Please note: This is a hybrid role, our offices are located in New York City
About Talkiatry:
Talkiatry is transforming mental health care by making high-quality psychiatry more accessible, human, and sustainable for both patients and clinicians. Co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, we were built to solve one of healthcare’s most urgent challenges: millions of people struggle to access mental health care, while clinicians face growing administrative burden and burnout. Through our technology-powered, in-network platform, we’re changing that, creating a better experience for patients and empowering clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care.
Today, Talkiatry is the largest dedicated psychiatry practice in the U.S., with 750+ psychiatrists, 250+ therapists, and more than two million patient visits delivered nationwide. At our scale, every innovation has real impact. Every workflow we improve, every technology solution we build, and every patient experience we redesign helps thousands of clinicians provide better care to hundreds of thousands of patients. We’re not just growing quickly — we’re redefining how behavioral healthcare is delivered in America.
Joining Talkiatry means joining a mission-driven team that is solving complex problems at scale, driving meaningful change in healthcare, and building the future of mental health care with compassion, innovation, and purpose.
You will:
-
Build new programs from scratch. Take clinical programs from concept to launch, establish the workflows and operating rhythms needed to run them, and use early results to determine what should change before expansion. When a program proves effective, turn the pilot into a repeatable model that can support broader adoption.
-
Own the operating infrastructure. Design end-to-end workflows with Clinical and Operations, document standard operating procedures and job aids, and define EMR workflows. Create dashboards that make program performance, service levels, volume, and risks visible. Use practical automation and AI to streamline early operations when helpful, especially before dedicated product capabilities are available.
-
Launch and evaluate partnership pilots. Work with internal teams and external partners to define the pilot scope, patient journey, responsibilities, handoffs, success measures, and launch plan. Monitor patient and operational outcomes, identify what is driving performance, and recommend whether to stop, adjust, or scale each partnership based on its potential to support patient volume and retention.
-
Design seamless workflows. Build workable operations before dedicated product investment is available. That requires practical judgment, strong analytics, and a willingness to use lightweight tools, automation, and AI where they can reduce manual work. As programs mature, you'll partner with Data, Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations to strengthen the underlying systems.
-
Strengthen Care Management operations. Support the Senior Director in managing and improving the Care Management program. Help define a scalable model for assessing case complexity, routing work, setting service levels, balancing capacity, and measuring the program's impact.
You have:
-
Builder-operator mindset. 4-6+ years in consulting, operations, program management, or implementation. You like running the nuts and bolts of a business, you're as comfortable deep in a workflow as you are zoomed out on the system, and you create structure where there isn't any.
-
Workflow and operating model expertise. You can map a patient and team journey, define ownership and decision points, reduce unnecessary handoffs, and design workflows that remain clear as volume and complexity increase. You can write standard operating procedures and job aids that teams can use in daily work. You explain complex processes simply, support adoption, and update the model as the team learns from real cases.
-
Analytical program manager. You're fluent with metrics, dashboards, and spreadsheets. You define success measures before launch, monitor leading and lagging indicators, and use the results to decide whether a program needs to stop, change, or scale.
-
Cross-functional clinical partner. You work effectively with clinical leaders, operations teams, technical partners, and external organizations. You turn different perspectives into clear workflows, decisions, and accountable owners while respecting clinical judgment and operational constraints.
Preferred but not required:
