Responsible for managing the critical applications of the bank payments processing platform. Works effectively with the business stakeholders, internal teams and vendor in ensuring the product road map and the payment platforms and process improvements. Ensure payments products delivery and support strategy are aligned with the management  objectives and goals. Ensures strategic vendor partnership and aligning products / industry road maps of the Payment platforms with business strategy.

Responsible for guiding and mentoring the team and ensuring high quality of delivery and cross functional expertise with the team

• Work with a diversified team of professionals both onshore, offshore and vendor resources who are responsible for the Payment applications support & project deliveries
• Provide expertise and recommendations in the assessment of initiatives to support and enhance systems
• Ensures Payments applications delivery & support the most critical application in the Bank and bank operation.
• Perform appropriate level of stakeholder management across business, technology and clients
• Ensure projects and initiatives are aligned to and delivered against the business objectives, serve as highest project internal escalation level
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with defined quality management practices, to achieve the common banks objectives
• Works with business representative, stakeholder to ensure alignment of delivery with the business demand
• work with the payments team in delivery of world class platforms solutions
• Ensures value added propositions in strategic vendor partnerships and aligning the products and platforms are inline to the industry roadmap and business strategy, thus enabling an effective business growth
• Supports across 9 countries across different support time-zones for 9*6 /24*7 where required
• Interact with the team of professionals who are responsible for payment applications ( LCY) support and delivery.
• Assist the project delivery team in the requirement and concept and to verify for the correct functionality/resolution being developed
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and team members to identify and socialize product and delivery
• Provides strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to innovate and collaborate
• Engage with the team for effective reviews and planning

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate business requirements against existing and proposed systems, providing a recommended approach through the respective application teams.

• Analysis of functional requirement change impact to existing systems.

• Manage and drive the solution documentation to business (System Requirement Specifications - SRS) describing deliverables to meet requirements.

• Ability to understand the Functional and Technical Design Specifications and help business

• Actively participate in issue resolution activities by guiding & assisting development team and building a good functional repo with development teams

• Understand the Business requirements from the Bank to enable IT to effectively convert &

• prepare the Requirement Specifications & Functional specifications

• FLEXCUBE knowledge and functional expertise

• Status reporting & senior management reporting

• Adherence to Banks internal process and procedures

• Provides guidance, information and instruction to other IT staff requiring broader subject knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cross border team management experience.

• Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.

• Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.

• Engineer / Post Graduate with 12-14 years of experience in Project / Program management of financial services.

• Core banking / FLEXCUBE hands on experience and implementation.

• 2-3 years in team management, project management , managing program implementation

• Knowledge of Banking domain is a must

• Should have worked on the Product Designing and implementation with respect to Business requirements

• Strong understanding of SDLC process

• Strong inter personal communication skills

• Experience of Banking Operations in particular Core Banking, General Ledger, Loans,

• Payments, Trade Finance and other related Banking channels

• Exposure of manual testing of Banking software applications is a plus

• Experience in Banking Production Support is an advantage

• Excellent Project Management Experience
