Accountabilities: The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading engineering activities, managing project delivery, and ensuring technical solutions meet customer and business expectations. Lead and manage mechanical engineering activities for major customer projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Oversee design, development, and engineering tasks throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional teams to define requirements, solve engineering challenges, and deliver effective solutions. Act as a primary technical point of contact for customers, addressing engineering questions and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Manage the execution of engineering solutions while monitoring progress, risks, and delivery milestones. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a skilled mechanical engineering professional with experience managing complex projects and delivering technical solutions in demanding environments. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Significant experience working in mechanical engineering roles, with proven project leadership responsibilities. Experience managing complex engineering projects, preferably within aerospace, defence, industrial, or highly regulated sectors. Strong technical expertise in mechanical design, development, and electro-mechanical systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging customers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.
