Job Description

The Senior Product Owner will focus on business automations and AI applications, serving as a high-impact, strategic product leader responsible for end-to-end product execution, roadmap definition, and business outcome delivery. This role combines rigorous day-to-day tactical product ownership (sprint planning, backlog health, high-velocity engineering partnership) with strategic, data-driven vision. Operating with high autonomy, consistency, and a relentless sense of urgency, the Senior Product Owner leverages data and product analytics to build roadmaps, align senior executive stakeholders, and establish product best practices. This position is designed for an exceptional, senior-level operator with the readiness and ambition to rapidly step into a Manager of Product Management capacity.

Maintain pristine backlog hygiene, well-defined user stories, Acceptance Criteria, and clear Definition of Ready/Done to maximize engineering velocity and predictability.
Lead daily and sprint agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives) in close partnership with Product Engineering, ensuring sprint readiness and zero developer downtime.
Own project delivery timelines with high reliability and an acute sense of urgency; actively identify, communicate, and eliminate blockers and cross-team dependencies before they impact milestones.
Partner alongside Engineering and QA throughout the product lifecycle to verify functionality, oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), and guarantee enhancements meet the highest quality standards.
Maintain existing production systems and products, ensuring continuous compliance with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs), uptime, and operational performance metrics.
Manage incoming product requests and bug escalations from diverse functional areas, rapidly triaging and resolving critical production issues.

Data-Driven Strategy & Strategic Roadmapping

With direction from with leadership, formulate and prioritize product roadmaps backed by quantitative data, operational KPIs, and business ROI rather than anecdotal requests
Define measurable success criteria and KPIs (e.g., user adoption, workflow efficiency, cycle time reduction, financial/VBC performance) for every initiative, tracking post-launch metrics to validate / share value delivery.
Translate complex technical architectures, regulatory/compliance requirements, and operational trade-offs into crisp, business-oriented storylines for senior and executive leadership.
Manage stakeholder expectations across functional areas with transparent, data-backed rationale, detailed milestone tracking, and clear trade-off analyses.

Emerging Leadership & Practice Scaling

Own strategic projects independently while mentoring, coaching, and upskilling more junior Product Owners and Business Analysts across the organization.
Establish and scale reusable product frameworks, intake models, PRD/story templates, and operating standards across the broader product management team.
Lead high-ambiguity, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple product lines, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders, demonstrating the capacity to oversee a broader portfolio.
Partner with product leadership to evaluate team capacity, sprint health, and delivery metrics, identifying continuous improvement opportunities to elevate team operating rhythms.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant product ownership, product management, or business analysis experience in high-velocity agile environments, with a demonstrated track record of progressive responsibility and informal or formal leadership.
Proven track record of defining and leveraging product analytics, and business KPIs to build business cases, justify roadmap prioritization, and measure post-launch value.
Exceptional day-to-day tactical product ownership skills: backlog grooming, user story writing, acceptance criteria definition, dependency mapping, and engineering partnership.
Demonstrated bias for action, high consistency, reliability, and an acute sense of urgency in managing competing deadlines and operational escalations.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, align senior/executive stakeholders, and mentor team members.
Hands-on experience understanding and leveraging modern AI tools, workflows, and capabilities to accelerate productivity, product discovery, and backlog delivery, with an active pulse on future-thinking AI developments.
Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills, with the ability to distill complex system logic into high-level business impact.
Strong problem-solving skills, extreme attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, geographically distributed team environment.
Adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated with an ownership mentality.
Bonus: Practical AI knowledge and skills (e.g., experience leveraging modern AI/LLM tools for workflow efficiency, prompt engineering, or designing AI-enabled product workflows).

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% a_nd restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location._
