micro1 is engaging Tamil Bilingual Experts to contribute to an impactful language and AI training project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Listen to audio clips in Tamil and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of the speaker or model output.
- Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
- Document your assessments with clear, concise written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
- Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency in results.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
- Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in Tamil language understanding and generation.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks, maintaining high standards of quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in Tamil, with strong command of both spoken and written language.
- Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, especially for written and verbal communication.
- Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields is prefered.
- Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate nuanced language differences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is considered an asset.
