Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect with deep expertise in non-functional requirements (NFRs) to define and drive architectural strategy across enterprise platforms.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce NFRs: performance, scalability, reliability, security
- Design scalable and resilient enterprise systems
- Lead architecture reviews and modernization initiatives
- Drive Microsoft ecosystem architecture (Azure, Fabric, Power BI, .NET)
- Lead performance testing and optimization
- Establish observability and reliability practices
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams
- Mentor architects and senior engineers
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years experience in software engineering/architecture
- Strong expertise in NFRs
- Hands-on Microsoft stack (Azure, .NET, Fabric, Power BI)
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices
- ERP or enterprise product experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
- Data engineering and analytics exposure
- AI/ML familiarity
