Technical Customer Success Manager - North America
Cybeats · 1 day ago
Cybeats is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Success Manager to join our growing team. We are seeking a candidate on a fulltime temporary basis to cover 12 months with possibility of extension. This is a fully temporary remote role based in India supporting US and Canada clients.
As a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers' success by driving the adoption and effective utilization of our SBOM (software bill of materials) management platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to deliver a seamless experience, helping customers achieve their cybersecurity objectives. Your role is crucial in developing long-term relationships, fostering customer loyalty, and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
Cybeats is a growing cybersecurity company, focused on innovation with a passion for protecting companies from cyber attacks. We build certainty into any service, device, or enterprise with continuous and comprehensive software supply chain security at every step of the product lifecycle from development through operation. We are looking for you to join our journey of growth and innovation. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you we would like to get in touch.
About the Role
We are a fast-paced, lean cybersecurity infrastructure platform managing tier-1 global enterprise portfolios. We are seeking a multi-threaded, highly analytical, and enterprise-ready Technical Customer Success Manager to join our lean global squad.
This is not a traditional relationship-management, account-handling, or ticket-routing role. This is a unique, high-leverage position sitting directly at the intersection of Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering, Technical Implementation, Support Triage, and Customer Enablement. You will own the technical post-sale lifecycle of major global portfolios, ensuring complex compliance and security data scales smoothly within client environments.
NOTE:
Core Responsibilities
-
Pre-Sales Discovery: Partner directly with the Western sales squad during the pre-sales discovery phase; analyze prospect software architectures, evaluate compliance readiness, and build Proof Of Value plan.
-
Post-Sales Implementation: Drive the hands-on onboarding engine for engineering, DevSecOps and PSIRT teams at our largest enterprise accounts; guide clients through process automation, API integrations, SSO setup.
-
Strategic Advisory: Act as a deep-tech advisor, helping global security heads successfully navigate complex international supply chain mandates.
-
Tier-1 Support & Triage: Own first-line platform debugging and data validation; investigate software component misclassifications, resolve configuration anomalies, and cleanly isolate actual product bugs before escalating to core engineering teams.
-
Enablement & Knowledge Infrastructure: Actively extract engineering tribal knowledge and turn it into scalable, self-serve corporate assets; author implementation playbooks, standard technical FAQs, and developer toolkits.
Requirements & Qualifications
-
Experience Context: 3 to 5 years of experience operating in a highly technical, client-facing engineering footprint (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Technical CSM).
-
Product-First Background: A proven track record inside a B2B SaaS Product company (Series A to C) or global product engineering node. Resumes showing exclusive tenure at massive IT service aggregators or legacy outsourcing firms will not be evaluated for this specific role.
-
Technical Acumen: Fluent comfort interacting with REST APIs, parsing JSON/XML files, manipulating Postman collections, and auditing developer scripts.
-
Embedded Curiosity & Soft Power: A naturally inquisitive mindset that thrives on pulling apart dense, unfamiliar technical domains; paired with the communication maturity to brief a customer’s Directors and C-level leads smoothly.
-
Shift Coverage: Comfortable supporting and working with Canada and US account time zones. With a full ability to maintain necessary daily communication and delivery.
-
Desirable Highlights: Prior exposure to the cybersecurity ecosystem, software supply chain security, or hands-on familiarity with SBOM or vulnerability triage frameworks is highly prized but not mandatory.
-
Variable/OTE component: None. 100% of your compensation is fixed and guaranteed.
-
Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage offered through Remote, our Employer of Record (EOR) partner.
