micro1 is engaging Tongan Bilingual Experts to participate in a dynamic project supporting a global customer initiative. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Transcribe Tongan audio and video content into accurate written text with precise timestamps.

2. Analyze and describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers across various scenarios.

3. Review transcribed material for grammatical structure, clarity, and fluency in both Tongan and English.

4. Define and contextualize complex or idiomatic Tongan words and expressions for non-native users.

5. Provide detailed feedback on language usage, tone, and linguistic nuances present in the content.

6. Collaborate with project coordinators to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

7. Contribute to refining AI language models through specialized linguistic tasks and insights.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Native or near-native fluency in both Tongan and English, with superior written and verbal communication skills.

2. Demonstrated experience with audio/video transcription and timestamping at a professional level.

3. Strong attention to emotional context, tone analysis, and speaker intent within linguistic material.

4. Advanced knowledge of Tongan grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and cultural context.

5. Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or related language services is highly regarded.

6. Ability to deliver thorough and well-structured linguistic analysis on complex language tasks.

7. Self-driven and detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and at least 15 hours of engagement per week.
